Infrared Used In Electrical Applications
These images indicate how infrared can be used to locate electrical anomalies in industrial applications.  Notice how the infrared image gives an instant image of the condition of the equipment where the color image really gives no indication at all.  The temperature data collected can be used to trigger a repair prior to an electrical failure in the equipment.
